The Actuarial Mentorship Program (AMP) is one of our newest programs in the Actuarial Science Club.  Within AMP, each freshman, sophomore, and transfer student is matched with an upperclassman.  Throughout the school year, these upperclassmen serve as an informal resource for the younger students to direct their questions regarding:

* Class requirements and scheduling
* The best (and worst!) teachers on campus
* The actuarial exam process
* Interviewing and internship experiences
* University life in general

AMP sponsors a variety of events throughout the semester for the underclassman/upperclassman pairs.  During Fall 2009, these events have included:

* A beginning of the year picnic, and
* Sports Day, featuring a bags tournment and volleyball
